My sister and I took my mother to ME for a long weekend and had an excellent experience staying at the Sea View! The pictures don’t do the house justice - just the perfect mix of a classic coastal home with modern renovations that give you all the comfort you need. The house was very clean with comfortable beds and linens and a well stocked kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching the waves. We’d definitely return!

Had a family getaway in York in September and stayed at Sea View for 3 nights. Enjoyed every minute we were there. House is well updated and had everything we needed. Ed was great to work with before during and after our stay.

We were able to walk to most places or take short drives! The house was exactly as pictured online and even bigger than we needed for the 3 of us. The host was super responsive and accommodating. Hope to return someday!

This property was fantastic. Perfect for my family with two small children and my sister-in-laws family. So close to short sands beach and only minutes walking distance to the town and wild kingdom. Great front lawn area as well for the kids to play on. Will definitely be going back!

Really enjoyed the property. Great views of the bay! Everything was as presented on the site and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had.
A charming home with the most beautiful view of the ocean. The home was very clean, and has everything you could possibly need. The property managers, Barbara and Ed, were very accommodating and communicative. Can’t wait to get back here next year !

The house was amazing with excellent views and very a nice interior. We had a very rainy weekend but it didn't matter because the house was so nice, clean and roomy we really enjoyed it. We had a lot of family time with dinners/movies together and totally enjoyed the house. Ed was very friendly and good to deal with if we had an issue. I can't wait to rent it again and hopefully get to enjoy the lovely front porch. The house is amazing!

This was our first trip with our two new grandchildren and we brought their parents along too! We loved the Sea View and the amazing rocky coastline right outside our front door. It was a great week. The Sea View, a great home in pristine condition with a beautiful view of the ocean, sunrise and sunset all from the same point. The rocky coastline is right out the front door and Short Sands beach is 100 yards down the road. Town is an easy walk. The home easily accommodated our 6 adults and 2 babies. We really enjoyed the Sea View. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful, inside and out. Ed was a great host. We loved our week at Sea View. We are pretty much convinced it IS the "Perfect Location".

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is right on the Ocean and a short walk to short sands. House is very clean and updated. Did not have to bring linens or bath towels. The King size beds were so comfortable. I would recommend this place very highly!

It has been so nice to spend a beautiful week in your northeast. We’ve enjoyed wonderful views of the ocean splashing large waves onto the rugged rocks. “Fabulous place to spend 50th Anniversary vacation!” -- Here for 3 weeks to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with our children, grandchildren & great grandson. Happy New Year! A wonderful winter vacation in Maine! Quiet and beautiful at the Nubble this time of year - there is still enough open to eat well and enjoy the area and the view is always the best on the East Coast!
We cannot say enough about the house - absolutely delightful! 4 bedrooms and plenty of space to relax. The modern kitchen and baths made the stay very comfortable while the amazing renovation job made us feel like we had stepped back in time - highly recommend the house in the off season - heat system is more than enough and the hot water was always available. So glad we found this place and Ed - it made for some cherished memories for our family!

This property really is my favorite rental in Maine! The ocean view from the front porch is stunning and the porch comes in handy for the occasional rainy day. The huge front yard is perfect for bbq-ing and lawn games. We stayed here before and loved it so much we decided to return not knowing they were in the process of renovating. About a week before our stay, we got an email saying the renovations were complete. We were blown away! The kitchen and dining/living areas were enlarged and completely modernized and another bedroom was added downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms and bath had been updated too. Everything was clean and well maintained. I liked that linens were included. It was one less thing we had to pack. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home. The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. He promptly answered the many questions I emailed him in the months leading up to our stay. We got to meet him and his wife while we were there. They were so nice and friendly. It was a pleasure renting from them. They were so accommodating to all of our requests. At the end of our stay, I forgot to empty one of the dressers and they shipped everything back to us. Our security deposit was promptly refunded as well. The location is perfect too. It is a short, easy walk down to town (restaurants, shopping, the arcade & amusement park) and Short Sands Beach. Long Sands is a little further (maybe a mile) but we walked there one day too or we would park in one of the daily lots. My husband enjoyed walking across the road from the house and fishing off the rocks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable home close to all area attractions. We have rented many houses in the area but I really do think this property is the best!

We were so impressed with the home! It was truly a home away from home. We have stayed at other properties in York, and this home blows away all other vacation rentals. It is immaculate, has all the comforts of a real home and is newly renovated. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern, full size and make a huge difference for a traveling family. Ed and Barbara keep the home immaculate, well stocked with amenities and are very friendly. The front yard and porch are beautiful, and the short walk to the beach and town are picturesque. If we could, we would spend our entire summer at 51 Ocean Ave every year!
