Our Story

Some of our earliest and most special memories as a family were made in York. Happy summer days at the beaches, hiking Mt. Agamenticus in the fall, walking the Marginal Way, ice cream and candy at The Goldenrod, visiting the Harvest Fest- these were just some of the things we loved about Maine--and still do to this very day, more than 30 years later.

We believe that York is a very special place and it was that belief and York’s role in our families lives that led us to become vacation rental property owners. We bought One Long Beach in 2002 and in 2011 we had the opportunity to purchase the Sand and Surf which allowed us to offer a single home for large groups. Shortly after the Sea View was added and hence One Long Beach Properties was born.

For over 20 years, our mission has been to provide our guests with a chance to get away from it all, while being close to everything you could possibly want to experience during your Maine vacation. We certainly embrace our state’s slogan that Maine is “The Way Life Should Be” and hope that our guests get to experience that with each and every visit with us. For us, that means offering guests simple, comfortable homes, unbeatable views, and the perfect location that gives you instant access to the best of Maine...we hope you love our homes and this place as much as we do.
